Ye’ in Balmain Bike Jeans x Air Jordan VII’s

Those are some great looking Balmain Bikers, Yeez. In a related story (ha), I finally tracked down and copped my own pair of Balmain Biker Jeans this past summer in Boston (while spending some quality time at my favourite upscale fashion boutique) and I absolutely LOVE them. Some denim deetz from a proud owner of these highly sought-after style of jeans:
They’re light wash (my first pair of light blue jeans since the good ol’ 1990s)
Meticulously destroyed/distressed (with subtle tears and permanent dark lines strategically laced throughout)
Contain all the Biker trademarks that former Balmain creative director Christophe Decarnin made infamous (i.e. the heavy motorcycle jacket style zippers and the kneepad-esque pattern located on the lower thighs)
Inner tag says “Made in Italy” (where else?)
I usually pair them up with my white/fire-red/cement Jordan III retro kicks in the late spring/summer/early fall and I plan on sporting my black Timberland boots with them in the late fall/winter.
As you can tell, I’ve spent quite some time examining my Bikers very closely (the above mini-review is proof that they are in my possession and I’m not just talking shit). But you would too if you knew how much I “invested” in them (not a humblebrag, just a fact). They’re certainly the most heavy duty/intricate pair of denim I’ve ever owned and easily the crown jewel of my modest designer jeans collection (you can really feel where the $$$ went). As the legendary Slick Rick said: “Fresh, dressed like a million bucks.”
